Some of the main challenges that the fibre industry will need to address in the short-term include 1) enhancing in-home connectivity, to avoid the end of the network from becoming a bottleneck 2) driving demand and accelerating take up, as we observe a visible a tangible disparity between the FTTH deployment and adoption rates acroos Europe 3) planning for effective and adequate copper switch off initiatives. During this high-level panel discussion, our Director General Vincent Garnier brought the voice of the FTTH Council Europe on stage by discussing the best strategies to make this happen, with a constant eye open on the sustainability issue.
